The Fishing:
So, here is the deal on the fishing. Bonefish, Tarpon and Permit are all possible at this lodge.
So are Snook, Barracuda and Jacks. All in all, there will be plenty to keep us busy. The
bones are respectable, and the Permit, well, they are Permit, and enough to mess with your
sleeping patterns.

The Lodge:
When I go on a trip, I want to be comfortable. I want the point of the trip to be as much about
fishing as it is relaxing and having fun. This lodge has some great amenities, and offers plenty
to do in addition to fishing. We chose this lodge because it offers the best of both worlds.

The Food:
I won't lie, I like to eat! The lodge has Kai restaurant, with daily changing menus available to us. This is included as part of the deal. They will also provide box lunches for you to bring on your days fishing excursion. You will not go hungry on your trip!

Cost is $2799.00 plus transfer fees, and plane tickets In Room Amenities include:

Most common rod will be an 8 weight saltwater safe rod Ipod dock / Alarm Clock,Hair Dryer,
There is a one to one guide ratio Coffee Maker (Most important one on the list),
There will be two to a room. Fly tying station, Private Rod safe
The lodge is located in the Yucatan Penninsula, in Ascension Bay. It is in the middle of the Sian Kaan Biopreserve. This is a 1.3 million acre area, loaded with fish!
We will fly into Cancun, and go from there. As of 9/14 the cost of a flight from Erie to Cancun was about $600.00 round trip.

There are only 12 rooms at the lodge. Lodge is much more like a resort than a fishing lodge.

We are also offering casting instruction and fly tying dates specifically for those who sign up for the trip. We will get you casting good and tying crabs in no time! This
is our way of thanking you for going through us.
Steve Brugger, the shop owner will be hosting the trip. I will personally make sure you are having a good time and that things are going according to plan!
Last but not least, you will be provided with a full packing list well in advance of the trip. This will include everything you might need on the trip.
