We really have a soft spot for these rods at the shop. Not only are they true fishing tools, they have a lot of little special touches that make them a real value in a fly rod. They have ferrule alignment markings. They come with a carbon fiber tube, which in the days of pay for your bags travel, really helps to cut some weight. They have a softer and more progressive action that is perfect for fishing distance casts as well as protecting lighter tippets. All in all, a great choice no matter what your quarry is! We carry the 10'3" 7 weight in the shop year round since it is a steelhead killer, and we are happy to drop ship the rest right out to you.
