Simms got onboard the BOA train, following suit of Korkers. The BOA system is a lacing enclosure system that originated in snowboarding boots and we all know that they are hard on their gear. The lace is made of wire which also reduces the chance of transferring invasive species between watersheds. The Vibram sole when combined with Simms cleats make an excellent footing on even our slippery shale bottomed steelhead creeks. We couldn't ask for much more out of Simms in these boots.
